Winter Break

It was a great winter break filled with slow moving mornings in our pjs, play dates, and outings.  A perfect mix.

Loving the warmer winter temps.  Park play!  Oh Trudy!

Margaret is full of so much spunk lately.  Love that girl!

Of course donuts over break.

Columbia has the best children's area at the library.

Working on connecting the dots in a new dry erase drawing book.

Practicing her writing.  When did she get so big.  Full blown kid now.

Crazy crew at the grocery store.

Stamps and Sun!

A visit to the pool is a must over any break.

4 little fishes that love the water.

Making dinner with Poppa.  A nightly routine in this exact place.

SING!

She insisted on a crown and a bun for the show.  Wish granted = happy Matilda.

Still can't believe I have kids now that can sit and enjoy an entire movie.  Watching them and listening to them laugh is better than the movie.  SING was very cute and they all loved it.  Their favorite part...when three little rabbits start singing "I like big butts"!  They have not stopped repeating it and they laugh the same big laugh each time.  At one point in the movie MM, looks at me and says "Lots of potty talk in this movie, so funny".  Yes there was some but even just one word my girls roll laughing.  Oh this next stage of language parenting is going to be interesting....EK was running after MM a day ago saying "Don't be a Bitch".  I am thinking she has to be saying Witch but knew she wasn't.  Asked her what she was saying and she clearly repeated Bitch.  Oh lordy is what I wanted to say.  Anyways we will deal with that later!

EK has been asking for Jimmy John's daily.  Yes, she loves a ham slim.  So today I ordered for delivery and she loved it and it was here freaky fast as they promise.

Really Trudy just ate chips and dip after throwing a fit for the whole sandwich, "no cut".

Play date with her buddy!

Afternoon Pie Face fun!  Best gift from Miss Huggins.  It was an afternoon of laughs...

until Margaret fell asleep playing and woke up screaming her neck hurt.  After calming her down and checking I realize it is her glands (so swollen) and looked in her throat...it was clearly strep throat.  Off to urgent care before they all close.

Tutus, Crowns, Capes, and Cell Phones

Santa Came!

The Manda Girls ended the year on the good list.  Of course there were a few moments during the season that they were a little naughty but in the end the good times won!

Good Morning!!!  Of course the baby and new baby carriers were in stow.
The pure excitement, squeals and Margaret commentary was in full affect.

Trudy went right to writing!

Legos for EK just want she wanted, the ice cream parlor.

A dog and cat in a carrier for the littles.  Happy girls!

Then this moment.  I will never forget and have to say even though she had tears it made me laugh inside.  I have it all on video.  The girls all start to unwrap and MM starts yellling "BABY ALIVE" in so much excitement.  EK sees the box as she is ripping and says "A WELL WISHY"  "TILDA IT IS AN AMERICAN GIRL DOLL"!  MF chimes in so happy "I love American Girls".  The disappointment set in for Tilda.  Not a Baby Alive.

Once the baby was out and she saw she had long hair, it was all smiles.

Trudy was in on the fun as well.

Margaret loved everything about Christmas this year and just could not stop smiling.  Her I LOVE santas and sweet heart felt comments made all the holiday efforts worth it.

Most likely my last Christmas morning with a baby and a pacie so I let her go!  Ok I let her go most days but really its the last baby thing about her so we will let her make the call when it it time.

A full day at home with the girls playing by the Christmas trees in pjs.  It was a great day!!

Breakfast and all the meals for the day made by our Poppa!

Anything goes on Christmas and I think the girls ate their weight in Air Heads.  A favorite treat around here.

By the end of the day toys were everywhere and I did have to remind myself this is what you wanted and tomorrow we can clean it all up.   Merry Christmas to all!
