OH TRUDY

Almost 3 years old and full of so much spunk.

Her hugs are tight and sweet.  

Her kisses are often and lots.

Her voice is sweet but powerful.

She is determined and independent.

Her facial expressions are classic.

She is bossy or some may say shows leadership skills.

Loves hotdogs, eggs, yellow, and babies.

Loves classic books read nightly in her rocker.  Pride & Prejudice is her favorite.  

She all big girl but always my baby.

Sisters

These 3 still love Tuesday nights.  They love gymnastics but also all being together.  The excitement each week is so fun to watch.  Trudy really can't wait to join.

My view through the window makes it all worth it.  It can be busy to get from school to activities but most nights it is totally worth it.  I challenge myself to keep the girls involved not overly scheduled but expose them to a variety of activities so they can choose what they like.  As they get older I feel these activities will be more important not because the need to go professional in these activities but because it continues to teach you so many life lessons.

Letter People Day

Letter People started the first week of school and this day celebrated the end.  Letter People is the way the school teaches each letter.  The letter person sings songs about their letter, the teacher has a puppet of each on and this day each kid got to pick who they wanted to dress as.

Sundays at the farm are good for the soul

This one goes from Diva to Dirt pretty fast and can get really dirty.

Sisters!!

City girls bring the scooters and bikes to the farm and try out on the gravel.  Good thing they had Trudy to help when the go off the road.  She also watched for cars and one came and she yells "Car Coming!"  Don't worry this did not last long and everyone was safe.

Date Nights

I love days and nights with my girls but I do love getting out with Poppa and friends.  So important and so fun.  We are lucky to have great local babysitters and parents who watch the kiddos when are fun is close to them.

Headed to OLLIS to be the Mystery Reader with Poppa in EK's class 

EK was so proud to have Poppa there and the kids loved him

The class room had the same book I was reading and EK read along page by page.  So sweet.

This was what she was working on when we got there.  I love K class work and projects.

We had a few minutes before they had to line up for lunch so Poppa took charge.  Who can stand like a 3 leaf clover....they all loved it!!

Reading followed by lunch with our oldest.  Special one on one time.  We all enjoyed it.  The lunch room at OLLIS is the most well organized and executed process I have ever seen.  The kids are happy but so orderly.

The day of fun continues with a play date after school.  EK loves to plan play dates.  Her and Madelyn are best buds and had a great time!!

We ended the day with more green in our dinner.
