NO MORE BARN!! No need to worry the fire is part of living in the country, that what he told me! You just let it burn. So the barn is done, I have to say I'm impressed! So you think adventure over, not with builder.... The neighbor stopped and asked if he would take down his barn?? To which I would have politely replied no thanks, builder... He wheeled and dealed and is doing it for some tractor part....so barn storming continues. So if you think project love is just me now builder is all about it! We just have different loves!

Barn storming update
So builder almost burnt the whole thing down....not planned or wanted! Builder loves a good fire and that is just what he got last week on a dry and winder day then he thought. Almost had to call a fire truck for back up. Eagle scout fire badge came to the rescue! After a few good days and some help from friends he is almost done. He has really enjoyed the project, not my idea of fun but that is why we are all different! He has learned a lot he says about deconstructing. Wonder what Walt thought when just builder showed up to take down a barn. And not destroy, save everything of worth....taking nails out of boards, scraping metal, stacking wood perfectly ...barnstorming

GOALS!
The new year always starts off so fast ....leaves me with that feeling ...I think I CAN and I KNOW I can...I tell myself this daily lately. Everything needs cleaning up, re-organizing, re-starting, final touches, and it all needs to move FAST. I have been joking saying that it already feels like March. Here comes the goals....SLOW DOWN and SIMPLIFY!
It is so hard in this world to slow down and soak anything in. I don't mean slow down and be lazy, I just mean slow it down and not operate at a sprint all the time. I challenge myself to get better at this each day.
Simplify. Makes everything flow that much better. Having one easy process, storage place, or go to. Simple across the board.
Same goals for the mom, wife, and professional side of me! I am on it!!!
Start to the 2012 Project List:
1. Farm House --Get the farm house livable and ready for EKs first birthday party!
2. Playroom for EK!
3. Dining room Cabinet
4. Fence outside around the wall
5. Stain the deck and dock
We are excited for what 2012 has in store! Tonight I go to sleep dreaming of the snow the are calling for. I really do love waking to the white snow....something so peaceful and beautiful.

Thinking....
This week has involved a lot of thinking and hard work....back to reality...nerdy but my mind just went to the song 'back to life, back to reality' that is life for us this week. We are back to our daily routine and the daily grind of work. Man since I started work I would love to know where the 8 hours a day came from. I really do love my job but 8 hours a day at work....Oh well it must be done and at least I can say I love what I do. So why they above picture. 1. I love that face! 2. This is what EK looks like when she is focused and hard at work. And boy does she work hard with her toys and getting where she wants to go these days. So one more day for me to focus and work away...I try it EK style and see how it goes!!
