Last Week's Projects

When we finished the wall, we knew we would need a fence for kiddos and even adults.  We decided  on what type of fence.
The next day was in the 70s and Builder went to work!  I love his style...get it done!  We have a fence.  We do still have to paint.  So some Tom Sawyer white fence painting is coming.
Did you know builder was searching for a windmill??!!!  Yes he was and he found one.  I always know when someone calls about farm stuff by Builder's language, gets a little podunk!  Pops and Builder loaded up a windmill.  I think our neighbors think we are crazy!!

Updates!

Back at it ....fast!  This is how I felt all last week.  I was playing catch up and I think on Wednesday I felt ready for the week and it was then time to get ready for a busy weekend.  All fun though!!  I am very thankful for this Sunday to relax and recharge...so where to begin.

EK updates....we are getting teeth!!  This started on Tues/Wed with fussiness and we were not sure at first if it was the cold resurfacing.  Yes EK did get a nasty cold that set her back with a fever one day while we were gone...boo.  She was in great hands and bounced back.  Teeth!  As of today you can feel them and see the white.  It looks like 3 are coming in on the bottom.  3...this should be an interesting look!  I have a feeling that teeth will be the theme for awhile since we are almost 9 1/2 months and no teeth until now.

Builder and I enjoyed a WONDERFUL trip to the Bahamas.  Same place as last year so we knew our way around and all the little tricks to the place.  It was days spent on the beach, nights spend eating fabulous dinners, deserts, and drinks, then nights rolling the dice and of course for me dancing with friends.  Our room view this year was perfect, could not have been better.  We slept every night with door open and could hear the ocean.  I love the beach!!!  I can't believe we had no travel delays or issues, even on Sunday with our 3 flights back.  We are so thankful for Mimi and Granmama, Lulu and Poppy, and Miss Tina for taking care of EK and Otto.  We know EK enjoyed the bonding time.

This weekend EK and I headed to IL to help host a baby shower for our good friend Ashley and soon to be friend for EK, baby B.  Baby B is a girl due in May!  EK and I cruised through STL on Friday making all the stops and then headed to IL to begin the party decorating.  EK was a trooper and it was a great party.  We went with a Bee theme for little Baby B.  I do have to say it was darling!!  All the little touches really came together.

Builder has had a few projects up his sleeve this week as well.  I will post next on those.  Never too busy for projects...especially when it was 70 degrees outside last week!  We are ready for Spring.  With 'spring forward' today I am ready for the sun to shine longer!!!
