What a fun day!! I have to admit I love holidays and truly enjoy all the crafting baking. We created fun memories and traditions, try to make as much into hearts as possible. We started last night with prep for the big LODO Valentines party, I was on treat duty. Loved it! So many ideas I could not decide, same thing happened with valentines. So make 2. The first was a toddler trail mix, we will be making these more often. It was a hit while making and at school. Toddler favorites; Cheerios, yogurt melts, yogurt covered raisins, strawberry covered frosted mini wheats. Then the valentines, they were fun, thanks tootie for finding the elephant and I could not pass bear hugs because ek gives the best hugs. She was so excited this morning to head off to school!! She had a great day!! We ended the day with a heart chicken pot pie, I love them! Not sure why but on my too meal list. More sweets to end the day! So blessed to have 3 little chicks and my builder!!

Have you wondered about
About poppa?!! He has been missing from the last posts because he has been hard at work on the barn. I jokingly said a few weeks ago that it was about time he go barn storming (read post from last year). Next thing I know we have siding for the barn and a new shiny tractor.
Lets start with the tractor. We have been through a few, no they are not used so much that they wore out, poppa changed his mind or they weren't right. He says this one is staying. It is shiny! I drove it, ha!
So the barn looked a little rough and we always planned a face lift. I had no idea poppa wound do it by himself. After a little road trip with his best bud pops to get the siding he has been a kid in a candy shop. My trip to Stl and then a visit from lulu for a few days was all he needed. Amazing! I know he's my hubby but this work is hard and labor intensive and 3 days alone, it's done just details. He even built the door...wow! Next up the rest
of the windows, yes it will have windows and doors. I'm already planning eks 2nd birthday in the top, perfection! Lastly I'm still not sure how he did this alone!
Weekend at the farm is in order!

I did it....
Drove 3 under 2 to Stl alone. For some this may sound like ok but for me this was one of those personal check moments. It wasn't pretty on the way there but we made it and cruised back today. You see that's the thing about driving you can never plan how it will go.
So going did not go as planned and after 45 minutes of dead stop grid lock I knew this was going to get interesting. It did, imagine seeing a lady carrying two baby carriers, a diaper bag, bottle bag, and leading a toddler into a McDonalds. I will start with I'm not a fan of anything there but the ice cream and usually clean bathrooms. No hands for ice cream this time. Yes that was me Friday night. The delay caused us to run into a feeding a and these girls know when it's time to eat. So to keep ek happy she had her first happy meal, she was happy only at the apples. Desperate times call for desperate measures! So 3.5 hour road trip but we got there.
It was a great weekend full of friends, lulu and poppy, shopping, and of course nails!
So I'm glad I gave myself that push to keep going with 3 little ones. One of those nothing can slow me down accomplishments. It did not come without a few high blood pressure moments and maybe almost tears but only thing that matters now is I did it!!! We are all tired but happy! Where was poppa, next post!

this is what happens...
When your hubby works nights and 3 kids are all crying at the same time and there is one momma. I asked builder this morning. "Were we all asleep when you come home?" ...builder replies and shows me the picture. I would say asleep and all quiet.

Game changers
On a conference call last week my old manager says stay on after, I want to tell you about these bottles, game changers for us. He has twin boys one month older then the littles. He says go to podee.com. He says his doc suggested to help with the colic in one of his boys and they are hands free allowing you to burp one and other can still feed.
Ordered! I feel the same, AMAZING!! Both girls took right to them and MF has increased her eats and more comfortable during feeds (they cut down on gas) with them as well. Strangest looking bottle ever! It makes it so much smoother to be one and feed two. They can sit in nap nanny or you can hold and they eat away. No you can't just leave them but you can get one going, change a diaper, then set that one up just in time to burp the other and then repeat!
So again I try something I would never think about with just one and I think even some of you mommas with 2 little ones at different ages could benefit. We agree with the reviews, great bottles!!
We still use our dr.brown bottles and the actual bottle can hook up to the tubing but you do have to use the podee nipple .
Thanks to friends for the advice!!
