Little Lightning Bugs

This Monday was the last day of school for the Littles.  They were Lightning bugs this year (will be next year too because Oct bday) and went once a week.  Started in November and have grown so much.  They get so excited to go to school!! Ms. Charlotte has been a great teacher and it's been a great experience. They are ready for more school days next year. 

Amazing how much they have grown! 

EK still has school next week after the holiday Monday but summer is coming!

Maugs 1st Poppa cut

2 weeks late but Maugs has joined the Manda girls bob club curtesy of Poppa cuts!

LODO Happenings

I can't believe the school year is coming to an end.  We do get an extra week because of all the snow days.  We will enjoy these last 2 weeks. 

At the start of May we headed upTeacher  Appreciation week.   I think it was a success with door decor, signs, flowers,  treats and gifts for the teachers.  We are so lucky to have such great teachers, truly blessed!

The apple bags were personalized for each teacher, they loved them!

Ms. Erika's door, she's the best and we will miss her next year with ek moving up.  Won't be long before the littles are lambs!

This past Friday we celebrated the end of school with a school picnic, it was a cool night at the park with friends! Felt more like fall but still had fun!

Mother's Day

Being a momma is an incredible never ending journey and I feel lucky to be a momma to 3 (really 4 sweet babes)! 

Everyday being a momma makes me a better person.  Sometimes I realize instantly how I am getting better and sometimes I discover it after the fact.  But regardless I feel the growth in so many ways.  

I love these sweet smiles more than words can describe! There are days I just look at them and think these are MY babes! xoxo

And then there are days I think, oh my goodness I have a lot of responsibility. On those moments of freak out or can I do it, I'm lucky to have such great role models in my momma, my mother in law, grandmas on both sides, and all the other ladies in my life.  Without their guidance, love, and support for the "is this normal?!!" and the  normal moments I would not be the momma I am today.  

I'm am so thankful to be a called momma and without poppa it would not be the same. We had the best "whitney" day complete with morning at starbucks, dresses and bows, time with my mom at our favorite flower spot, sun kissed skin from planting, and dinner followed by ice cream with my favorite little ladies vas man!!

18 months, Note to Littles

A week past but 18 months and you both feel SO BIG! It really feels like you just grew up on us. Independent describes you both.  You know what you want and can communicate better each day with signing or words.  You both love, love your babies. Your favorite snack after nap is chex mix.  Your still awesome nappers,  3 hours daily! Night time you have been bothered by teeth but still fairly good, you both love to cuddle!!  We love watching you 2 interact, you communicate with each other in your own babble language.  You both are full of energy and are happy happy girls.  Favorite place is playing outside, walking the sidewalk in your squeaks waving at all the neighbors driving by!

Note to Littles:

Watching you grow this month has been amazing.  One of my favorite parts of being a momma.  Another favorite is watching you all be mommas to others and your babies. I love seeing the nurturing, caring, and loving side you both have.  Your naturals, makes my heart full.  I love the sweet pats, pats, the kisses, and the concern when someone cries.  You both are sweet little mommas and I hope that you always let your momma side shine.  This momma loves you both so much!
