I spent the morning with my big girls at their school valentines parties.

We had a great day full of lots of sweets , laughs, and fun!!

Valentine Bags! I saw this idea and had to do it! EKs teacher loved it so we made it happen.  She took pictures and then thank goodness for phones, I zoomed in on faces then printed the pictures.  We had to change up the example and went with bags instead of boxes.  Poppa was in charge of getting bags and making the heart sponge.  The kids loved decorating and gluing the faces on.  So much fun was had and they turned out so cute!!

So much fun the last few nights prepping for party day at school!!

The Official Letter

I had to put EK on the list for kindergarten at Our Lady of Lourdes when she turned 3 years old.  It seemed so far and now this past weekend we had Open House and we got our letter this week.

EK has been accepted for Kindergarten next year.  I was very excited and so was she!

I love that 3 of the boys from Trinity will be going to OLLIS next year!!

I have mixed feelings on my first born heading to kindergarten next year.  First is I'm not really going there yet we still have time to soak in more PreK. The reality is EK is ready.  Some days I want to slow down time but then being part of this changing journey is incredible.  My reality in August is going to be school drop off is at 7:15...😳 We get up at 7:00 now and are served breakfast at school.  This momma is going to have some adjusting and they were talking about a tardy bell ....aaaahhhhh!!!

Poor pup...

Otto hasn't made the blog in awhile and now he almost has back to back posts.  

Let's just start by saying it was not the Saturday I had imagined.  I usually laugh about poop but not this kind.  Otto got a bacteria infection and it caused an uncontrollable mess.  It was truly disgusting and when I thought the worst was over and he started vomitting I just had to wave the white flag.  

Did I mention I was home alone with girls... Poppa had helped with what I thought was the worse clean up and then he spent the day at his favorite yearly auction with Poppy!  They started the day off right with a must stop breakfast place!

I was at home dealing with shit... I did have the best helpers and weather.  Thank goodness it was so warm!

We had to get out and have some girl fun too! Again thank goodness it was nice and I could leave Otto on deck.  Haircuts and Panera!

Then it was Otto's turn to get cleaned up.. Anyone who knows me well knows that a Pet Store is out of my comfort zone.  

 The girls loved the place....

They bring Otto out from back and girl says "he is so fresh and clean"... He shits all over the floor.  No joke.  EK and I are both mortified.  That sums up my Saturday!
