Fit it all in!

This weekend we did a quick whirlwind STL visit.  We fit in so much fun!

Started with a sibling dinner Friday night at Annie Gunns.  

This year we decided instead of Christmas gifts for each other to all go out to a nice meal together.  It turned out to be a great idea. 

The next day Poppa and Poppy headed out early for an auction and we went to the Magic House.  

It was so much fun!! 

I can remember this slide from my childhood visits to the Magic House that was truly just a house now it's a mansion.  Not pictured but I did take Trudy down first. 

Trudy loved it especially with Tootie!

Everyone's favorite was the vet.

We can't wait to go back and see more, such a cool place!

Lunch at Daily Bread is a must for me.  Adding G made for a lot of cousin fun!

Lunch followed by nails.  

Whew... We left STL tired but happy! Thank goodness Poppa drove because all the girls including me slept on the way home. 

Arrived home with 30 minutes to dress and regroup before the sitter arrived.  Night of fun at the Pot of Gold Auction for Our Lady of Lourdes.

Did you catch him?!!

The girls have been asking about the leprechaun since the start of March. 

Last night they worked with Poppa to make their trap.

 

We didn't catch him but he did leave behind treasures.

They were literally screaming as the gathered the gold coins. 

The leprechaun plays tricks and this one is the Manda girls favorite. Green Potty talk = belly laughs

Everyone had a great day full of leprechaun tricks, green treats and lots of fun!! Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Gerty Girl!

This little lady is full of sugar with a lot of Spice!!

We thought the oldest was loud and in charge until we met Trudy!

She loves a sprinkle donut and only eats the icing and sprinkles!

Little miss independent and she is determined to keep up with the bigger girls.

She loves her momma lots and this momma loves it!

 

But she has a close bond with Poppa as well.  He takes and picks her up from school daily. She loves her time with him especially the grocery store runs! 

The energy, determination, spunk, and independence completes our family of 6. Could not love this little thing more.  She is has just as much love as she does fiestiness.  We ❤️ you Trudy!!!

Bring on Spring

Today was one of those days that I feel God was saying " slow down Whitney".  I brought back some nasty viral head cold from my trip and powered through all week (at times just barely) but then today all 4 of my babies her down. 

To the doctor we all went...

Hoping the meds do the trick for all of us. The day with my girls was needed.  ❤️

Time to Celebrate

5 days with just this guy.

I couldn't feel luckier.  We love our daily grind but time away is good for the soul.  

Being selected to attend the Presidents Club trip again is a huge honor and very special to have a few team members and by boss here as well.  

I have to say I might be even more excited to celebrate the success of someone on my team.  I know the hard work and dedication that goes into our role and celebrating that with them feels oh so good!!

Lately my work days have been tough and again this role is challenging me out of my comfort zone.  I was surprised that after our year last year that this was happening again with year.  Well I have one choice fight through it and trust myself. For now we had 5 days of adult only time to celebrate all the hardwork and dedication that went into last year. I welcomed treats like this...

Little afternoon treat!

Again I do what I do everyday because I love the team I work for.  I wish I could bring us all together to celebrate because it would be the best party ever!!  I truly could not do my job without them and they are colleagues but all good friends.

Then there is this guy.  I love him more than words can explain.  He is my biggest fan, supporter, and best friend.  He always listens and talks through my challenges with me and that may seem small but in my world that is huge.  He is always ready to celebrate my successes and knows what makes me tick.  I am so lucky!!

So our team song this year has been 'Fight Song' and this week I'm living the line 'I'll be all right"

The big party was just that!

We danced until 1:00am!!!!  

Followed by a day on the beach with massages.  Perfecto!!

Followed by another great dinner with friends, good drinks and excellent food!

One of my favorite points in the award show was seeing these 4 faces.  My motivation to be the best I can be and show these girls you can be a momma and a successful career lady.

At pick up EK says "I look like Poppa when he works outside".  I'm think to myself "where did my baby go?!!".  Notice the tie shoes, new shoes and my first baby no longer has a toddler shoe size.  Next up learning to tie! Time flies!
