I'm a BIG girl now!!

Little Miss Independent decided NO more diapers and that was really how simple it went.  No joke.  She woke up on a Monday and said NO DIAPER.  I tried getting it on of course because she had only gone randomly on the potty except for a few months back when she wore underwear for a few hours.  After a few attempts I decided, ok lets see what you can do.  Planning for the worst I packed her backpack with 4 extra outfits, shoes, and socks.  Dropped her off and just said "Trudy decided she was wearing underwear today".  Teacher was excited for her and I left.  I really had no idea how that day would go.  At pick up, report was one accident that the teacher said was her fault because Trudy was saying she needed to go but she blanked that she was potty trained.  But dry all nap and no other accidents.  And that is how TRUDY BECAME A BIG GIRL!!!  Big first for me is she refused a pull up so she went night one in underwear.  The independence this little girl has is BIG.  She may be the youngest of 4 but she will let you know that she is in charge and runs her own show!!  OH TRUDY!!!

So 5 1/2 years of diapers and pull ups and the Manda's close a chapter in our lives.  No more babies at our house.  Well Trudy does still love the bink and I am fine with that!
