St. Patty's Day Fun

Our tradition of trying to catch the leprechaun continues ...

He continues to prank the girls and this one is an all time favorite.

Morning excitement

A day full of green starts with green eggs!

Continues at lunch!

4 Little Ladies being Irish for a day!

The fun and leprechaun tricks happened at school too!  Glitter was everywhere!!!

Headed to OLLIS to be the Mystery Reader with Poppa in EK's class
EK was so proud to have Poppa there and the kids loved him

The class room had the same book I was reading and EK read along page by page.  So sweet.

This was what she was working on when we got there.  I love K class work and projects.

We had a few minutes before they had to line up for lunch so Poppa took charge.  Who can stand like a 3 leaf clover....they all loved it!!

Reading followed by lunch with our oldest.  Special one on one time.  We all enjoyed it.  The lunch room at OLLIS is the most well organized and executed process I have ever seen.  The kids are happy but so orderly.

The day of fun continues with a play date after school.  EK loves to plan play dates.  Her and Madelyn are best buds and had a great time!!

We ended the day with more green in our dinner.

Green shakes for dessert!
Holidays are fun and I enjoy all the fun!

Carl's Drive-In

A must when you are in STL....

First time taking the girls to an Ott favorite.  Burgers, fries, and Rootbear floats in frosty mugs.  It was a perfect afternoon.  Added plus was we got seats and Poppy was there.

The best

Trudy of course got a hot dog over a burger.  Her favorite.

Great Place. Good Food. The best memories.

Dr. Suess Week of Fun

Dress like somone or something you would like to be ....no surprise the bunny and cat her back!!

First Ash Wednesday for EK. I loved the all school mass.  The sweet singing voices is the best.

All wear yellow day in Miss Wren's class!

Celebrating as Thing 2!  Cutest hats ever made at school.

Madelyn was her partner as Thing 1 at school so they had to wear the hats to dance.

Crazy sock and feet day!

A first for the Manda Girls

EK has been  working on selling things the past few week.  She started with Diet Cokes lined up on the neighbors stone wall (30+---still have no idea how she go them all out because we needed a box to bring back and yes I was outside watching just did not seem like so many!).  Then she went door to door with a sign that we had food if the neighbors needed anything.  She just loves selling stuff (her words!).

A nice warm Feb day called for her first lemonade stand.  Her first customer was someone just out for a drive and her stand was made by poppa!  Note the real plastic cups!

At first she was giving the customers money to pay her but after we explained, she was thrilled with her profit!

Sweet Grandma Jeanie and Carlton.

Whole neighborhood came out!
Successful first lemonade stand for the Manda Girls!

Scenes around the big red barn!

These last few weekends we have soaked up the sun at the farm.  Nothing better than playing outside all day.

Play date at the farm!

No  clothes required.

They love creek walks until they get wet.

The love for babies, bags, and baby stuff is real with all 4 but this one for sure.

Found them eating this.  Got it for the fridge and were just chatting.  Yes that is a block of chocolate I keep for making smores.

They go from princess divas to playing in the dirt.  They equally love both.

Anything goes at the farm and it is our families happy place.  Bring on more warm weather.

A first for Trudy

This was a few weeks ago but Trudy had her first real dentist appointment now that she has all her teeth.  She did fabulous!!!   In Trudy style she ran the show and was all over the office.  When you have 3 appointments at the same time and your good friends with your ped dentist it makes it a few fun morning!

Margaret was so proud of herself.  She went into the room all by herself.

A tractor and glasses, another very happy patient.

Matilda even sat in the picture chair with no issues. Margaret and Trudy enjoyed watching.

Great report for these 3 and  we are so happy that they seem to have very different teeth shape then EK....thank goodness!!
