We became a momma and poppa and our lives were forever changed.  

The love we both have for this sweet girl is too deep for words.  Your energy, loving heart and drive in life is contagious.  I see so much of myself in you, the good and even the bad which has challenged me to work on those areas! But of course way more good in my rule follower and honest little girl.

The excitement you have for growing and seeing what is next makes it hard to be sad. I truly feel blessed to be part of your life journey as I know it will be action packed, full of color and adventures and most importantly love.

Summer Fun Begins!

The last day of school is already here.  These 3 have grown in so many ways this year and we are so thankful for all the staff at LODO.  We have nothing but positives to say for all they have done.  The summer program that LODO offers isn't all summer so the girls are going to a new school in the summer.  2 weeks of summer break before the new begins.

Schools out for the summer and we started our summer bucket list with the start of the weekend in STL!

1. Trip to the zoo!  ✔️

2. Ted Drews! ✔️

3. Play dates with our friends in STL.  ✔️

Fun morning with Jack, Annie and Cheryl

5. Boat rides ✔️

The best start to summer and looking forward to a lot more fun ahead!

Dancing Queen

So proud of this almost 4 year old!! She put on a great little show dancing to "Little April Showers".  She looked so sweet and had the biggest smile.  She made everyone proud!

Her biggest fans could not wait to see her dance and then were ready for their turn.  Just a few weeks girls!

We then celebrated the dancer and her upcoming birthday.  It was a fun celebration with family!

I am so proud of you EK!! Not quite 4 and you showed such confidence and poise on the stage today!  Love you and the birthday celebration has begun!

11 months - Oh Trudy

I can't believe you are 11 months and so close to a big 1 year old!  In some ways you are such a big girl this month, you have started saying words and have said "poppa" and "momma" and we swear there are some "Etta" being said as well!! You will eat just about anything and no more baby food for you.  You love pulling up and standing!! At school you have started to visit the 1 year old room and the teachers say you love it! This month you have shown a little sass, you like what you want and are not happy if your plans get changed, makes me laugh.  You love being outside and your new favorite is tractor rides with EK, thank goodness for the seatbelt so you can ride!!

 You are still your happy self!! You are normal though and had your first crabby day!  You love to eat but you have your favorites, awaffle at breakfast is a must!

(Disclaimer this seat was brand new at ikea and I was by myself with no stroller!)

Oh Trudy!

This month you have shown that you have a plan of what you want and I hope you never lose that but rather grow that sense of independence.  Be you and while being you have your own plans, your own opinion, your own goals.  There will always be influence from others but take your own paths, that path can be the same as others or a completely different.  Don't overthink it just follow your heart!!

Spring is here!!

The change of seasons is always a time I love.  I love change and seasons bring just that.  Spring is here and we have been soaking it in!  

Nothing better than a spring morning coffee run!

Two trips in one weekend to our favorite flower nursery is a must!  Girls truly love it as much as I do.  Trudy went second time but no picture because it was just me and 4 girls, they really were good! Only thing missing this year was our Lulu.

Always a fun time!!

Can't believe we only have 2 weeks of school left!! Things have been super busy and fun!!  Teacher Appreciation week was a success, the All Star teachers were very thankful and the donuts at Trudy's school were a hit.  

Poppa and I had fun with it and truly appreciate all these ladies do to help our kiddos learn and grow, truly takes a village and we are lucky to have such a good village of people!

Littles go Dancing!

These 2 couldn't have been more excited for "bring a friend"to dance night!!   All smiles all night.

Nobody looked back.  Happy little dancers!

The next night at the soccer game I look over at Matilda watching EK play ... I died at the socks!

It makes me so happy to see the love these sisters have for each other (trudy too!).  The Littles love EK and she loves them just as much.
