Our Smiling Angel

Yesterday was a beautiful day and celebration.  We celebrated and remembered my Grandma, Lurline Swehla.  

There were tears and smiles.  At her ceremony all us grandkids read stories and memories from the siblings and us grandkids.  Well organized by my brothers.  

My girls asked a lot of questions but one thing they will tell you is Grandma is with Jesus in heaven and she is happy.

Side note:  Huge thanks to my sister in law who saved the day.  The night before I was getting outfits all out of bags and realized I had everything for everyone except I forget my dress....thanks Liz for letting me borrow!!!  

We then gathered to enjoy a meal full of Grandma's favorites!  Lulu had Angel lilies for every girl to take home and plant in honor of Grandma.  We now call this "Angel hill".

We ended the day with her favorite treat banana Popsicles.  Shirtless because we had just done a painting craft!
